Every "best loan apps" list in the Philippines runs to twenty names. Ours runs to seven, because we only include an app when three things line up: the company holds a Certificate of Authority on the SEC register, the numbers on its own website match that register, and we can confirm which website is actually theirs. Here is what passed, checked on 17 September 2026.

The seven

What the rates mean side by side

The cheapest and the most expensive app on this list are both licensed. Licensed does not mean cheap. On a ₱10,000 loan over about two months, Cashalo's published maximum comes to roughly ₱600 in interest, while CashExpress's published maximum over its shortest 180-day term comes to more than ₱35,000. That is the whole reason to compare before you tap "apply".

One caution on Mocasa. It publishes only an "as low as 0.2% a day" rate, not a maximum, so any estimate you see for it is a floor. Every other app here is measured at its published maximum.

Names we checked and left off

None of these is necessarily a scam. They simply did not pass a check you should be able to run yourself, and until they do, they are not on the page.
